This notice is required under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (Act 709). It is published in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Both versions carry equal legal standing. The English version is the primary drafting language; in the event of any conflict, the English version governs.

Notis ini dikehendaki di bawah Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 Malaysia (Akta 709). Ia diterbitkan dalam bahasa Inggeris dan Bahasa Malaysia. Kedua-dua versi mempunyai kedudukan undang-undang yang sama. Versi bahasa Inggeris adalah bahasa penggubalan utama; sekiranya terdapat sebarang konflik, versi bahasa Inggeris akan digunapakai.

ENGLISH VERSION

1. Data user

2. Purpose of collection

We collect personal data you provide through the enquiry form on this Site for the following purposes: to respond to your enquiry; to provide the advisory services you have requested or are considering; to maintain a record of our correspondence; and to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

3. Categories of data collected

We collect: your name; your email address; the country you are enquiring about; and the content of your enquiry as you describe it. We do not collect identity document numbers, financial account details, health records, or any special category data through this Site.

4. Source of data

All personal data is provided directly by you through the enquiry form on this Site or through subsequent email or WhatsApp correspondence.

5. Consent

We collect and process your personal data with your consent, given by checking the consent tick box on the enquiry form. The consent wording is: “I have read the Privacy policy and PDPA notice and consent to Living Life Asia collecting and using the details above to respond to my enquiry. I understand I can withdraw consent at any time by emailing the address in the Privacy policy.” You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com.

6. Disclosure of data

Your personal data may be disclosed to: the email service provider we use to receive and send correspondence; and, if an engagement proceeds, to licensed agents or other professionals acting under our instructions in connection with that engagement. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not disclose it to any other third party except as required by law.

7. Transfer outside Malaysia

Your enquiry data is transmitted by email and may be processed on servers located outside Malaysia, including in Singapore. Such transfers are made with appropriate safeguards in place. If you have questions about the safeguards, contact us at smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com.

8. Retention

Enquiry records are retained for 24 months from the date of the last reply in the correspondence. After that period, records are deleted. Engagement records are retained for 7 years from the date of the final invoice, as required for accounting and legal purposes.

9. Right of access

Under section 30 of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to request access to your personal data. To make a request, email smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com with the subject line “Data access request”. We will respond within 21 days. We may charge a reasonable fee for processing access requests as permitted under the Act.

10. Right of correction

Under section 34 of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to correct inaccurate personal data. To request a correction, email smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com with the subject line “Data correction request”.

11. Right to withdraw consent and cease processing

You have the right to withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. To withdraw consent, email smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com.

12. Inquiries and complaints

Inquiries about this notice or about our data practices: smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Department of Personal Data Protection Malaysia at pdp.gov.my.

13. Updates to this notice

We will update this notice when our data practices change or when required to do so by law. The version number and last-updated date at the top of the page reflect the current version.

This notice is published in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Both versions carry equal legal standing. In the event of any conflict, the English version governs.

15. Cross-reference

This notice should be read together with the Privacy policy, which provides fuller information about data processing practices. Where this notice and the Privacy policy address the same matter, this notice sets out the minimum information required under Malaysian law and the Privacy policy provides additional detail.

2. Tujuan pengumpulan

Kami mengumpul data peribadi yang anda berikan melalui borang pertanyaan di Laman ini untuk tujuan berikut: untuk membalas pertanyaan anda; untuk menyediakan perkhidmatan penasihat yang anda minta atau sedang pertimbangkan; untuk menyimpan rekod surat-menyurat kami; dan untuk mematuhi keperluan undang-undang dan kawal selia yang berkenaan.

3. Kategori data yang dikumpul

Kami mengumpul: nama anda; alamat e-mel anda; negara yang anda tanya; dan kandungan pertanyaan anda seperti yang anda huraikan. Kami tidak mengumpul nombor dokumen pengenalan diri, butiran akaun kewangan, rekod kesihatan, atau sebarang data kategori khas melalui Laman ini.

4. Sumber data

Semua data peribadi diberikan terus oleh anda melalui borang pertanyaan di Laman ini atau melalui surat-menyurat e-mel atau WhatsApp seterusnya.

5. Kebenaran

Kami mengumpul dan memproses data peribadi anda dengan kebenaran anda, yang diberikan dengan menanda kotak kebenaran pada borang pertanyaan. Anda boleh menarik balik kebenaran pada bila-bila masa dengan menghantar e-mel ke smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com.

6. Pendedahan data

Data peribadi anda mungkin didedahkan kepada: pembekal perkhidmatan e-mel yang kami gunakan untuk menerima dan menghantar surat-menyurat; dan, jika penglibatan diteruskan, kepada ejen berlesen atau profesional lain yang bertindak di bawah arahan kami berkaitan penglibatan tersebut. 7. Pemindahan di luar Malaysia

Data pertanyaan anda dihantar melalui e-mel dan mungkin diproses di pelayan yang terletak di luar Malaysia. Pemindahan sedemikian dibuat dengan perlindungan yang sesuai. Jika anda mempunyai soalan tentang perlindungan ini, hubungi kami di smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com.

8. Pengekalan

Rekod pertanyaan disimpan selama 24 bulan dari tarikh balasan terakhir dalam surat-menyurat. Selepas tempoh tersebut, rekod dipadamkan. Rekod penglibatan disimpan selama 7 tahun dari tarikh invois terakhir.

9. Hak akses

Di bawah seksyen 30 Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010, anda berhak untuk meminta akses kepada data peribadi anda. Untuk membuat permintaan, e-mel ke smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com dengan tajuk “Permintaan akses data”. Kami akan membalas dalam masa 21 hari.

10. Hak pembetulan

Di bawah seksyen 34 Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010, anda berhak untuk membetulkan data peribadi yang tidak tepat. Untuk meminta pembetulan, e-mel ke smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com dengan tajuk “Permintaan pembetulan data”.

11. Hak untuk menarik balik kebenaran

Anda berhak untuk menarik balik kebenaran terhadap pemprosesan data peribadi anda pada bila-bila masa. Untuk menarik balik kebenaran, e-mel ke smedigitalhubsg@gmail.com.
